And thanks for the extra vocabulary, which is all new to me.

Turns out, it was through prompt chaining that I wrote the book you mentioned earlier. Who knew!

Regarding whether everyone needs generative AI to be productive: not yet.

I think the tech still needs to go through a few iterations, and it’s used to be much more widespread, so that it’s fully integrated into our knowledge work, like eg, a text editor.

And it’s also a shame to think that the primary function of these models is to make us more productive, when they can make us better at all sorts of skills, and accelerate our work without relying on other people, who sometimes are hard to find. (as in, the right person to help you at the right moment).

And yes, I've been using ChatGPT Plus all along.

Yes, agreed regarding the potential of AI. It IS so much more than being more productive. I think its such a huge shift that we just dont have the terms for what it opens up...yet!
