Coffeelike Media is my branded podcast with supporting newsletter and YouTube channel.

Coffeelike Media podcast started as Podcast To Connect in November 2022 during a 30 day podcast posting challenge, National Podcast Post Month, NaPodPoMo.
Target audience: solopreneurs wanting podcasts or to refine their already existing podcast
Most episodes were recorded live in video first, then the audio was polished and published in audio form as well. There was also a supporting podcasting tips newsletter for small business owners.
Geopat ran from 2017 to 2023. It was conversations with other expat and global souls about various nichey things that grounded us and help us understand the cultures we were living in and/or immersed in.

Newsletter: coffeelike.substack.com/ (I'm revisiting episodes in my current newsletter newsletter via tips for small business owners with podcasts. )
Global Podcast Editors was a community building project for us behind the scenes of podcasting folks around the world. Ironically, it also started during NaPodPoMo. That event is so powerful!
Audio: not available (honestly, podcast editors were not listening to audio. No surprise!)
Newsletter: globalpodcasteditors.substack.com/
Target audience: Aspiring and current podcast editors globally who wanted to build community within the space
Most episodes were recorded live in video first, with usually 4 of us in the panel.
The newsletter ran for 2 years and has heaps of useful content still available to peruse.
#podrevday, Podcast Review Day, was a Twitter event where avid podcast listeners were encouraged to write and share reviews of their favorite podcasts/podcast episodes.
It ran from 2020 to 2022, when we all needed a little more love and community, right?
You can read more about the event and our impact here.
Creatively Complicated was a podcast where Travel Writer Summer Rylander and I hashed out our complex relationship with our respective creative ventures. Her with writing and me with podcasting. The podcast ran for a year.
It's not currently available online but it may be readded soon.
Changing Scripts is a YouTube channel that followed my 3 years of learning Mandarin Chinese while living in China from 2017 to 2020.
Types of videos include but are not limited to:
HSK specific videos (I passed HSK 1, 2, and 3)
hanzi character walkabout videos
language study updates
language comparison deep dives (super geeky)
language learning interviews (which ended up being added to Geopat)
